✅ 3 Proven Tools to Land Clients

(to make sure they buy)

🖐 Happy Wednesday!

Issue #51 is a 3.0-minute read.

1 big topic: 3 Proven Tools to Land Clients

You need demos, testimonials, and consistency to win new clients day after day.

Your goal: Create a repeatable process that gives prospects the confidence they need to buy and promote your product.

The problem: It’s tough to stand out in a crowded market and show people that your solutions are unique.

You can spend a ton of money on ads that either don’t convert or don’t give you a good ROI.

You can write every day on LinkedIn and not get the reach or engagement you need.

It’s frustrating.

In my first business, I had no idea how to get prospects to meet me, trust me, and work with me.

It’s a lonely road when you’re the only one on it.

Here’s what I did to go from invisible to invincible:

Your solution: Focus on demos, testimonials, and a consistent process to increase both.

  • Demos: Hit on the big problem your product solves and build a series of articles or videos that explain why it works.

You can write or use videos on TikTok and YouTube.

The goal is to make it simple, fun and memorable. It’s your chance to peel back the curtain and share your genius.

  • Testimonials: Nothing builds support for your biz faster than kind words from folks who know that your products work.

First, work on fostering ties with people you respect.

It’s vital that you give, give, and give some more before you ask for their vote.

Make it easy for them to share why they love what you do.

I use Senja.io to create easy forms and collect kind words.

  • Consistency: Just as you work to improve your solutions, so should you work on creating better demos and more testimonials.

It’s hard to film an A+ demo or write an excellent article the first go-around, so keep at it.

And it takes time for folks to write you a glowing review, so stay patient, ask every month, and continue to give.

    They’ll come through for you.

This week’s business story:

Candid Posts on Social Media Win Gold

The big picture: Olympic athletes took advantage of relaxed social media rules and won thousands of new followers with posts on their day-to-day lives in Paris. (1)

Each time an athlete shared a photo or video about their prep, diet, nerves, and results, their engagement went to the moon.

How this helps you: Clients buy differences, and they want to see what sets you apart from the crowd.

Your next move: Create a video storyboard that shows a combination of your personality and your product.

  • Pick the social media channel that attracts the bulk of your prospects

  • Write a simple script that tells viewers what problem you solve and the steps you use to build your product

  • Record 3 to 5 videos that break down your process and show examples of your product in action OR

  • Post 3 to 5 photos that accomplish the same with captions that share details

⚠️ Caution: A few social media platforms frown on using technology outside their app. Test your videos with your tech, and then record them using the app’s tech.

Rearrange your office furniture and bring in new art to crank up your business ideas.

Why it matters: When you spend time alone in the same space, it’s easy to fall into a funk of low energy and output.

Zoom out: Stand in all 4 corners of your room and look at the angles with a fresh eye.

💡 Zoom in:

  • Take down old photos and artwork to make room for fresh images; Etsy has a ton of affordable options to suit your style

  • Bring in one new piece of furniture that makes you happy; a new chair, desk or even file cabinet can have a big impact

  • Give your office a new paint color; nothing brings a space more juice than fresh paint, and it’s often the cheapest fix with the biggest ROI
